5 Questions With Eddie Izzard From 'Cars 2'

'Cars 2' features an eclectic ensemble of actors voicing a bevy of international automobiles. One such star is the acclaimed British stand-up, Eddie Izzard, who voices the devious Miles Axlerod.

We Talk NASCAR, Gas Prices and Carlos Mencia With Larry the Cable Guy of 'Cars 2'

'Cars 2,'
this summer's Pixar entry, hits theaters today. (See our review here.) Moviefone was lucky enough to talk with the animated sequel's star, Larry the Cable Guy, who plays trusty ol' pickup Mater.

We got to ask him about meeting real-life cable guys named Larry, what comedians he loves and the appeal of performing in kids movies. Enjoy!

Moviefone: In the movie, Mater goes to a fancy party and he makes some faux pas. Did you relate to that coming up in Hollywood?
Larry the Cable Guy: Oh man, I've been to a lot of parties for Comedy Central and, look, when you do anything out here they always have a wrap party. So I have been to parties and that's [how] I voiced Mater at that thing -- I took from my experience at all those. I feel really out of place at those things. I'm not a party guy and I'm not a Hollywood guy either.

Edie (GRACE!) McClurg Talks 'Ferris Bueller''s 25th Anniversary, On-Set Friendships and John Hughes' Genius

Edie McClurg may be the ultimate character actress.

Before getting into movies, she joined the renowned Los Angeles Groundlings improv troupe and did stand-up at the Comedy Store, back when David Letterman was just a no-name emcee.

Improv led to her getting cast in her first film, 'Carrie,' alongside Sissy Spacek. But McClurg is probably best known for her work with director John Hughes, particularly in 'Planes, Trains and Automobiles' where she has some choice words for Steve Martin, and as Grace, the high school secretary in 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off.'

As 'Ferris Bueller' celebrates its 25th anniversary on Saturday (wow, right?), Moviefone talked to McClurg about the movie's timeless appeal, what scenes were improvised and which jokes made John Hughes laugh the hardest.

Turns out, she's a righteous dude.
